Every journey begins with a story.
Ours began with a woman searching for a part of herself she had quietly set aside.
My name is Nishat Fathima, founder of Riwayat by Nishat. I am a wife, a mother of three daughters, and someone who understands the beautiful yet demanding reality of balancing family, responsibilities, and personal dreams.
Like many women, I devoted myself wholeheartedly to my family. As the wife of a defence professional, there were long periods when I managed our home and raised our daughters on my own while my husband served the nation. I cherished my family, but somewhere along the way, I realized I had stopped making time for myself.
I often wondered why I still felt something was missing.
The answer was simple.
I wasn't living my own passion.
That realization changed everything.
I decided it was time to build something that reflected not only who I was, but also what I wanted other women to feel.
That is how Riwayat by Nishat was born.
The word "Riwayat" means tradition, heritage, and a story passed from one generation to another. To me, it represents our roots—the values, culture, and identity that shape us.
Just like a tree grows stronger because of its roots, I believe a woman becomes stronger when she embraces who she truly is. Confidence doesn't come from following trends. It comes from knowing yourself and wearing what makes you feel beautiful, comfortable, and authentic.
